CLOSING DATE FOR RECEIPT OF FORMS FOR INCLUSION IN THE SUPPLEMENT TO THE LIVE REGISTER 2019/2020 IS WEDNESDAY 22ND JANUARY 2020
You must be ordinarily resident at the address at which you want to register and aged 18 years or over on polling day in order to vote. If you are on the register and have moved address recently, you may apply to get on the supplement to the register at your new address.
The right to vote is as follows:
Irish and British Citizens can vote at the general election.

RFA2 Supplement to Register of Electors
If you registered to vote in County Laois after the 7th of May 2019(closing date for inclusion in the Supplement to the Register of Electors published for the Local Elections, 2019) and on or before 25th November, 2019 (closing date for inclusion in the 2020/2021 Draft Register of Electors), your name will be included in the Supplementary Register which will be published for the forthcoming General Election, if eligible.
Supplement to the Postal and Special Voters Lists.
If you are eligible to vote by post, or are unable to vote in person due to a physical illness or physical disability and resident in a hospital, nursing home or similar institution, and you are not on the Postal Voters List, you can apply for inclusion to the supplement to these lists. Application forms are available from Laois County Council. To request a form please contact Corporate Affairs on 057 86 64105 or 057 86 64094, or send an email to register@laoiscoco.ie.
Completed forms must be received by Laois County Council on or before Thursday 16th January 2020.
