Free Household Hazardous Waste Collection – Postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions

The scheduled Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on the 15^th August 2020 has to be rescheduled due to the Covid-19 lockdown.

A new date will be announced.

Laois County Council wish to announce a free Household Hazardous Waste Collection is to be provided as detailed below:

Venue:                                           Old Mart, Timahoe Road, Portlaoise

Time:                                             10.00am to 3.00pm

Date:                                             To be rescheduled

List of products accepted:           

• Adhesives
• Aerosols
• Anti-freeze
• Herbicides
• Household Detergents
• Medicinal waste (Human and Animals)
• Mixed fuels, oil (cooking and engine)
• Oil filters
• Paints
• Pesticides
• Varnishes

This service is for householders from Co Laois only  – COMMERCIAL WASTE OR AGRICULTURAL HAZARDOUS WASTE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

Please note Receipts will not be issued
