The feasibility study prepared a series of analytical reports to determine the scope, technical detail, ecological considerations and costings to upgrade existing walking routes into two looped cycle trails – Red Trail Rath/Dunmore Trail and Blue Trail Capponellan Trail – suitable for multi-use outdoor recreation, community, family and tourism cycling. The two trails start and finish at The Square, Durrow, Co. Laois. This is a follow-on development from the community operated bike hire scheme in the town.
