Early Payment Incentive Scheme
The Members of Laois County Council have allocated a fund in the 2022 Budget to encourage and support small businesses under the Small Business Support Scheme 2022.
The scheme will apply to ratepayers occupying properties in Laois incurring Commercial Rates of €10,000 or less in 2022.
A 4% reduction of the Commercial Rate will be given where the annual Commercial Rates, (and any outstanding arrears), relating to the relevant rated property are paid either:
a) in full or by two moieties by no later than 31st July, 2022
or
b) by agreed regular staged payments commencing immediately and paid in full by the 31st December, 2022.
Note: The 4% reduction only applies to the current annual Commercial Rate Demand.

Tá ciste leithdháilte ag Baill Chomhairle Chontae Laoise i mBuiséad 2022 chun gnólachtaí beaga a spreagadh agus tacú leo faoin Scéim Tacaíochta do Ghnólachtaí Beaga 2022.
Beidh feidhm ag an scéim maidir le híocaíochtaí rátaí a bhfuil maoin á n-áitiú acu i Laois ag tabhú Rátaí Tráchtála €10,000 nó níos lú in 2022.
Tabharfar ath-thógáil 4% den Ráta Tráchtála sa chás go n-íoctar na Rates Tráchtála bliantúla ,agus aon riaráistí gan íoc), a bhaineann leis an maoin rátáilte ábhartha:
a) ina n-iomláine nó faoi dhá mhóta tráth nach déanaí ná an 31 Iúil, 2022
nó
b) trí íocaíochtaí rialta céimnithe comhaontaithe ag tosú láithreach agus íoctha ina n-iomláine faoin 31 Nollaig, 2022.
Tabhair faoi deara: Ní bhaineann an laghdú 4% ach leis an Éileamh bliantúil reatha ar Ráta Tráchtála.
