Clean up Laois Week is an initiative run by Laois County Council each April in conjunction with An Taisce’s National Spring Clean.  Bags, gloves and litter pickers are provided to those who register to do a clean up and the resulting waste is collected.

Individuals, Groups, Residents Associations, Tidy Towns, Schools and any other groups are welcome to register.

The rubbish must be from illegal dumping, no household waste or green matter will be taken e.g. grass or tree cuttings.

Laois County Council acknowledges the great work done by all groups involved and would encourage the public to be extra vigilant in their own areas, by reporting any litter offences, unauthorised waste collectors, or fly tipping on the confidential freephone litter hotline 1800 32 32 30.

Details for Clean up Laois Week 2019 will be updated shortly when available (updated 17th January 2019)
