After Aubrey Nuzum sold his Dublin-based business, he soon required a factory unit for a new enterprise. A number of potential locations were scouted; however, it was decided to locate the business in Portlaoise as an IDA advance factory unit was available. After a meeting with the Chief Executive of Laois County Council and IDA representatives, there was a very quick turnaround and the factory unit was delivered within three weeks. The real can-do attitude encountered in Laois has served the business well. Things have worked out very well for the company in Laois; it currently employs 40 staff and has future plans for expansion.
