Laois County Council are currently planning and designing a Playful Active Travel Zone on the below route to some of your local schools!
We are consulting with the community to make cycle and walking routes to school safer, more convenient and more fun for everybody. The first phase of public consultation will begin with a number of surveys, which can be found below.
Students and parents will also be invited to a series of interactive design workshops to have their say.
Insights from these surveys & the workshops will inform the design of playful elements along the route. We will be asking you, the local community, to let us know what you think about these so keep your eyes peeled for events in the coming months!
