The Portlaoise Local Area Plan 2018 – 2024 was adopted by the Elected Members on 22nd October 2018. The plan came into effect on 19th of November 2018.

The consultation portal is open until 5pm on 29th October 2024 for submissions on the proposed Material Alterations to the Draft Portlaoise Local Area Plan 2024 – 2030
