DojoMór 2024 takes place across Ireland on Saturday October 19th with a range of fun coding platforms presented in easy-to-follow, practical sessions. Join STEM Communicator and Laois STEM Engagement Officer Seanie Morris in Portlaoise Library (Lower Main Street) for an hour-long session programming micro:bit controllers and having fun!

 

What are "micro:bits"?

Micro:bits are credit-card sized programmable controllers that use Scratch to receive commands and display results on the 5X5 LED display. Learn how to roll a dice, scroll your name or play Rock Paper Scissors and more. Workshops run from 10am-11am, 11am to 12pm, and 12pm-1pm with a limit of 10 families per workshop (only 1 workshop per family).
