Information on drinking Water Quality in Laois

Laois County Council is required to monitor the quality of drinking water for all water supplies under its responsibility in accordance with the European Union (Drinking Water) (Amendment) Regulations 2017 (S.I. 464 of 2017).

These regulations set out the parametric values against which all water services authorities (including Laois County Council) must monitor the compliance with drinking water standards.

Laois County Council is also required to establish and maintain up to date records of Drinking Water Monitoring Results and to make this information available to the public.
