Age Friendly Parking Bays

Laois County Council may provide designated parking bays for older people.

What are these spaces?

These spaces are courtesy spaces and it is hoped that motorists will enter into the spirit of this initiative and leave them free for older persons (over 55) who need them.  It is part of an initiative to make Laois easier to live in for older people. 

Please note:

  • Where a 30 or 45-minute free parking time is in operation, it applies to these spaces. 
  • Where there is a parking fee, this applies. 

Age Friendly car parking stickers can be distributed via the Older People’s Council/ Laois County Council upon registration.
