People of Ballylinan Urged to Take Health Check Survey

People of Ballylinan Urged to take Health Check Survey

Two surveys underway in Ballylinan as part of a Health Check study are being carried out on the village by the South East Technological University (SETU). The business and community surveys have been compiled by SETU in collaboration with an interim Ballylinan Town Team and Laois County Council’s Regeneration Section. The Health Check is looking at all aspects of society to gauge what the public feel about their community from public services, vacancy & dereliction, sporting facilities to anti-social behaviour. The findings of the surveys will be included in the Health Check report, which is the first step in the formulation of a regeneration plan for the village. It is envisaged that the next stage of the process will be the development of a plan which will identify key projects which the Town Team can seek funding for. This is in line with the Government’s Town Centre First Policy.
