Attendees were treated to a wonderful performance by the young members of Camross Comhaltas group as they arrived at the venue with “Libra” string quartet providing light entertainment during the meal. Justin Treacy, RTE presenter and Emo native proved a brilliant MC as he introduced the nominees and announced the winners and runners up. As ever, the atmosphere was electric as groups and individuals from all over Laois awaited the announcements. The category winners and runners up are as follows.
