Laois County Council supports the roll out of the Government's National Broadband Plan by working with telecommunications companies to deliver broadband services and encourage the take up of high speed connectivity.

Laois County Council is supporting National Broadband Ireland in rolling our high speed broadband to all homes, farms and business premises across Ireland.

Broadband Connections Points (BCPs)

As part of the roll out of the National Broadband Plan, Laois County Council launched the Broadband Connection Points (BCPs) in 4 areas in rural Laois: 

  1. Vicarstown Community Centre
  2. Emo "Old School" Community Centre
  3. Oisin House, Rossmore, Killeshin
  4. Donaghmore Workhouse and Agricultural Museum
