County Heritage Grant

Information on grants available to communities and heritage groups to carry out projects which help to conserve, promote and improve local heritage.

Laois Heritage Office administer national grant schemes and provide support to communities and heritage groups who wish to apply for funding under these schemes.

Community Monuments Fund 

The Community Monuments Fund is a programme which aims to assist with conservation, research and interpretation of archaeological monuments by communities and private owners. The scheme is funded by the National Monuments Service of the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage and is administered in Laois by the Heritage Office of Laois County Council

Other Heritage Grant Schemes

The Heritage Council run a number of grant schemes that are open to community groups to apply for and are administered by the Heritage Office of each Local Authority. For more details of the various grant schemes visit Heritage Council Ireland
