Laois Libraries, together with Offaly Libraries, are delighted to co-deliver a series of talks and workshops for parents as part of our Parenting Support Programme.
Ready Steady Play will deliver a free multisensory play, music and movement class for 0-3 year olds and their carers in Mountmellick Library on Tuesday, 22nd Oct at 11:30am.
During the Sensory Baby Play and Music Class you will learn various ways to play with your bundle of joy. Babies are exposed to sensory play, songs, and the beginnings of social play.
Your little one will be introduced to sensory development activities. Together you will explore the basic concepts of music, melody, pitch, rhythm, and beat while building a repertoire of joyful songs. You will dance and move to a new theme each week.

Supported by Laois Offaly Children and Young People’s Services Committees (CYPSC), the Parenting Support Programme invites experts to discuss a broad range of parenting topics currently impacting our children.
The aim of the programme is to to give parents simple and practical strategies to help them build healthy relationships with their children and confidently manage issues as they arise.
