The purpose of the Local Economic and Community Plan is to set out, for a six-year period, the objectives and actions needed to promote and support the economic development and the local and community development in county Laois.
The Local Economic and Community Plan 2023-2028 was adopted in March 2024 and informed by public consultations held from May to August 2023 with communities and stakeholder across Laois. The LECP aligns with and supports the Council’s Corporate Plan.
