SECTION 75, ROADS ACT 1993
(Road Regulations 1994)
In accordance with the provisions of Section 75 of the above Act and Article 12 of the Roads Regulations, 1994, Laois County Council hereby serves notice of its decision to temporarily close Lower Main Street and Church Avenue, Portlaoise from 4pm to 8pm on Friday 24th November 2023 to facilitate an event to include the switching on of the Christmas Lights.
Specific Roads affected as follows:
- Lower Main Street, Portlaoise (From the Junction of Railway Street to the Well Road Junction)
- Church Avenue (From the Junction of FitzMaurice Place to The Well Road Junction on Main Street.
Diversions will be clearly signposted.
