Road Closure in Laois ( Carlow Triathlon) – 22nd May 2022

 NOTICE OF DECISION

 Carlow County Council & Laois County Council, having given the required notice intend to close the following public roads for the purpose of facilitating a Triathlon event on Sunday 22nd May 2022 from 12.00hrs to 15.00hrs;

CARLOW TOWN

Centaur Street: L-4005

From the corner of Castle Hill to the turn-off of the Barrow Track

Barrow Track: L-4006

From the corner of Centaur Street to the corner of Montgomery Street

Andy Murphy Road: L-4006

From the Barrow Track to the corner of the Athy Road.

Maryborough Street, Graiguecullen: L-4003

From the corner of Graiguecullen Bridge to the corner of Ninety-Eight Street

Henry Street, Graiguecullen L-858

Morrin’s Lane, Griaguecullen L-8159

Chapel Street, Graiguecullen L-4002

 

LAOIS

 R430:

Between its junction with the N78 (Newtown Cross Roads) and the County Boundary in Graiguecullen.

 R431:

Between its junction with the N78 (Crettyard) and its junction with Molloy’s Cross Roads).

Alternative routes will be sign posted and parking restrictions will also apply.
