In accordance with the provisions of Section 75 of the above Act and Article 12 of the Roads Regulations, 1994, Laois County Council hereby serves notice of the decision to temporarily close the Meelick Road, L6310 from N77 Abbeyleix Road to the Regional Road R426/Timahoe Road from the 25th September 2023 to the 6th October 2023. This will be a full road closure between the dates specified.
The road closure is necessary to facilitate Road Improvement Works at the Meelick Road Junction to the N77.
Diversions will be clearly signposted. A map indicating the routes to be closed and the alternative routes will be available for inspection at www.laois.ie and Áras an Chontae, Portlaoise.
