Summer Stars
Note: Closing date for Summer Stars, Super Stars and Golden Ticket extended to 10th September
Summer Stars is the free national reading programme for children that takes place each year during the summer in public libraries and online throughout the country. Our goal, as always, is to promote every child’s right to read and to invite all children throughout the country to join the adventure and to enjoy the fun and pleasure of reading and writing over the summer. It is for children up to 12 years and ABSOLUTELY FREE!
This years programme runs from 13th June to 31st August – register at your local library to start the reading adventure! Take a look at all the free events and activities happening in Laois Libraries in our brochure here.
