Story Stroll in Mountmellick playground:
Mountmellick Library is delighted to bring the library service outdoors this summer. As part of the Summer Stars reading programme, Jennifer Farley’s book, “Scout’s Best Day Ever” will be coming to Mountmellick playground from June 19th to 16th July. The book will be up on boards so families can walk around and read the book about Scout’s travels around Ireland from Dublin to Donegal! Pick up a quiz at your local library (or print form home see pdf below) and pick up a postcard to write or colour in! Drop them back to the library! Send in photographs to Facebook Mountmellick Library of your stroll and postcard. We’d love to see them!
Laois County Library Service ‘Storywalk’ is supported by Creative Laois as part of the Creative Ireland Programme (2017-2022) in partnership with Laois County Council.
