The Just one more line Adult Book Club with Emma

The book club is now up and running, with some great books all ready devoured. So, if you’re also addicted to reading and need just one more line, contact us at 0578730020 or email us at abbeyleixlibrary@laoiscoco.ie and we’ll fix you up.

It runs once a month on a Thursday evening after 6pm.

Laois Geology & Minecraft Rocks

For National Heritage we had Michele Castiaux from the Irish Geological Association presented a fun and informative workshop on geology and Irish rocks. We also talked about the popular game Minecraft and the rocks used in that.
