NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN OF A PROPOSED VARIATION TO THE COUNTY LAOIS DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2011-2017
Pursuant to section 13 of the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended, Laois County Council proposes a variation to the Laois County Development Plan 2011-2017 to enable the implementation of the Housing and Urban Regeneration Act 2015 (including vacant site levy provisions) by way of supplementary policies and objectives in Chapters 3 and 4 of the Laois County Development Plan (Volume 1).
The Proposed Variation has been subject to Appropriate Assessment (AA) Screening and Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Screening.
Copies of the Proposed Variation and the related AA and SEA Screening Reports are available for inspection at www.laois.ie and at Laois County Council Offices, at the address below, from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am and 4pm.
Written submissions or observations are invited in respect of the Proposed Variation and these will be taken into consideration before any Variation is made.
